The aim of Russian bingo is to cover one line (if the game is a simple one) or an entire playing card with the little pieces, which are pulled blindly from a special sack by the leader. Whoever is the first to cover their line or card is the winner. Both adults and children love this game -- for kids, only a knowledge of numbers is necessary -- and nights playing bingo in the family circle make for unforgettable memories of childhood. In the process of the game, which emerged as early as the 16th century, nicknames were established for the numbered pieces: 10 is a cow's eye, 22 is a duck, 25 is again 25, 44 is little stools, 50 is a half-hundred, 55 is gloves, 66 is wool boots (or boxing gloves), 69 is here-and-there, 77 is hatchets, 80 is grandma, 88 is ringlets, 89 is grandpa's neighbor and 90 is grandpa.
